In the Beginning…
The Brooks family started in construction in the 1970’s.
Ben Brooks, Chad Brooks’ grandpa, worked closely with John Justin (owner of Justin Boots Inc.) When Justin boots was expanding, John utilized Ben from within the company to build their new warehouse in Fort Worth, Texas.
Soon after that project, Ben decided to start in residential new construction. He had a vision and the tools to provide new homes at an affordable price for North Texas. Ben used his manufacturing background and vision of providing homes for North Texas to grow Brooks Builders from nothing to a large operation building around 300 homes a year.
Ted Brooks, Chad’s father, formed Brooks Homes.
Brooks Homes focused more on custom homes through the 90’s and early 2000’s. Brooks Homes built many custom and lower end affordable homes for second time buyers ranging across North Texas. In the mid 2000’s, Chad and Ted decided to formally partner and start building spec homes as well as custom homes from 2004.

Chad grew up with a very hands on approach to every aspect of residential and commercial construction. He has always had a strong interest and passion for excavation work within the construction trades.
When Chad was in high school…
he would drive to different subdivisions with a New Holland tractor doing grade work, trash cleanup and miscellaneous work on the houses; and continued this type of work through college. Since then, he has continued to grow in New Construction, General Construction as well as Excavation work.
Today, Chad is growing in his passion for all aspects of construction from building pad sites for commercial and residential sites, fences, concrete work, land management, to building and remodeling New Luxury Homes. There is nothing in construction we can’t handle.
